It's been a lovely fall here in Colorado. Mostly warm temps during the day and then a chill settling into the air as the sun goes down. And with relatively little rain, such weather makes for beautiful fall colors. Looking down our street there were trees in shades of yellows, oranges and reds. Very pretty. We have a relatively big maple tree in the backyard (I say "relatively big" because its size pales in comparison to the 85 year old maple trees we had on our property in New York). The leaves really started falling from the tree this last week with the crazy wind we've had, and Jake decided it was time to rake them into a pile to play in. It was some serious afternoon fun for the whole family!
