Slithery Snake

Brian has an unusual pet, a four foot corn snake named Ka (think of the Jungle Book). I swore to him that when we had kids he'd have to get rid of it. Well, the snake is no more harmful than the spiders on the wall, and 18 months later, Ka isn't planning on moving to a new home anytime soon. In fact, Jake has taken quite the interest in him as of late. If Daddy would let him, he'd take him out of the cage everyday.
I swear, this child of mine is going to be one who comes home with frogs and snakes in his pocket (whether he'll find them here in our neighborhood of Long Island is another story).

you are FAR braver than I... I'm not a reptile fan at all. We are a dog kind of family thats for sure! Fun that Jake and his daddy can share the adventure of snakes.

oh my goodness gracious!!!! That seriously freaks me out! I am NOT a snake (or spiders!) person...the only time for me when a snake was ok to even look at was when it was wrapped around Selma Hayek's body in From Dusk 'till Dawn...and that is only because she is HoTT!

Wow! You are brave. I've always said that there are two things I would never live in the same house with and those are a gun and a snake. I found out after I got married that my husband has a shot gun but it stays at his parents house. Anyway, I would let the gun move in before the snake. Not sure what I'm going to do if Spencer wants a snake.

hey, you never know. We've got a frog living in our garden, and Michael plays with it every time he spots it!
