Recent Random Pictures

I'd have to say this was the favorite birthday present (Thanks Uncle Danny). Not only did it stay suspended in the air for 6 weeks, but Jake carried it around with him ALL the time.

An afternoon at the beach. He loves the sand but won't have anything to do with the water.

Talk about monkey business! The kid scaled this 6 foot ladder! Good thing silence means trouble (as in, it's too quiet, what is he up to?) or we may not have caught him before he got hurt. I love the look of "I did it!" on his face.

Jake loves oranges. :) I remember doing that with orange slices as a kid.

Jake's favorite sleeping position.
Good thing he's so cute when he's alseep. Peeking in on him does make me remember that I think he's an angel (at least for part of the day).

You are so blessed!!! Remember it stays for a moment and then they can talk back instead of scream or cry. Even when it gets hard, remember it is so worth the tears and frustration.

Love you...

Hey Lisa~

It's been a long time since I've seen you!! I created my blog about a year ago but didn't start doing anything with it until this month. I happened to stumble upon Cadence's blog and then through hers, yours!! Your son is so adorable. I loved looking in on my kids sleeping in their cribs, unfortunately I don't have any in a crib anymore. Oh, about your previous post, don't worry it does pass!! ( I remember by pediatrician telling me it goes in 6 month streaks most of the time)I had the unfortunate experience of thinking I skipped the whole Terrible Twos thing but then along came the Terrible Threes instead. The funny thing about it though is that a lot of those memories have faded from my mind. I can only remember a select few events but other than that I only remember the funny/good/cute things!! Anyway it is great to be able to keep up with some of the people I went to school with. I ran into Mike Wilson and Bill Bennett at the fair this year and got to see their kids. I don't actually talk to anyone from Meridian that much anymore, just in passing (except for Tim Gould who is married to my best friend).

Anway, I hope you have a great day!!!

How is it that he has no fear of climbing a ladder but is afraid of water? Oh, the wonderful mysteries of children!

I love the pics! Abby used to sleep like that. You keep saying he's a handful...but that sweet innocent face couldn't really be that much work...right? ;)
